Sorry, nothing new, but I was a sonar tech on a submarine in the Navy, thats what I did, study sound.
We listened underwater, it was the eyes of the submarine, once you get a couple hundred feet below the surface, you can't see shit, but once you get under the convergence layer, you can hear things hundreds of miles away because of the way sound travels, which is not in a stright line. Sound actually travels faster underwater than above. Deeper in the water, the faster the sound travels.
I could listen to a ship, look up the records and tell you the name of the ship, which way it's headed and how far from the boat is was.
The coolest part of the job was listening to the biologic's, Whales, Dolphins, even shrimp, noisy little critters.
Last time I got my ears checked, they told me my hearing was still way above normal for my age.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
