Same thing happened to us. Our cat was given deworming meds and later that night started having seizures. She'd never had a seizure prior. Long story short, the seizures persisted a couple more days, but she survived them unharmed and it never happened again. Vet also told us he'd never heard of that reaction. Apparently it's not an isolated incident.
