My mother had a genetic heart condition she just found out about, back 14-16 months ago, it's also what took her at a young age of 57.

She did know, I was never shy to tell her, it kills me that her youngest grandchildren will not remember her and all she did for us (her family).
I was supposed to call her back on Tuesday at supper time (I cut off our call Monday cause I was working). Before I could call I got the call saying she had passed. Not sure if I'll ever let myself off the hook for it, but I guess time cures all wounds.
So I'll say it again, give your mothers a call, even if it's just to chat.
