By beats I mean uptime, support, service and everything else that matters. Yes, their prices are high right now but they weren't a few years ago. They just haven't lowered prices with everyone else. Considering their track record I would imagine that they still sell a shitload of servers because they are above and beyond in everything else that it's worth a few bucks. I don't have some 40 odd servers for a tube and never needed more than a single dedicated at a time or I would have looked elsewhere.

I will say this, I hosted dozens of clients on my dedicated there and any one of them could log into support chat and have their own issues addressed without ever involving me. That is in the rare instance that there even were issues to address. I'm not going to name names but I have used at least half a dozen adult hosts and worked on customer accounts hosted at many others. None of them ever came close to Hostgator in any area. I heard that Nat Net was good but I'm not the kind of person to fire off an email every time I want a database installed so I avoided them.
