in this case the production/marketing/actors have already been paid, the only person who is going to lose money is the production company.

Make up your mind, are you talking about this single movie or not. Its actually your posts that don't make sense. Of course the "grunts" lose to piracy as I explained. You cant seem to see the larger picture. If production doesnt make money, then they don't produce as much, and when they dont produce the so called grunts lose too ...
