Oh, and with that example. It's more about making the "Y" scenario. In other words making a horizontal element a specific width (taking up a certain amount of columns). Or making a vertical element a specific height (taking up a certain amount of rows).
It is not about trying to get an element to a specific row/column area in the grid ("x").
