i too have been all over the usa ,canada mexico and a few other countries and for the most part have never felt unsafe(except at nite in the hood)...that being said i also read the newspaper and watch the news on tv and check the police blotters..and guess what.bad things happen to good people all the time...not saying its going to happen to me ..just saying theres no harm in being prepared if the situation does arise...we can go back and forth on this issue till the end of time

BUT

i can gaurantee you this....if you heard a window getting smashed in your house at midnite tongiht and your kids are sleeping in there bedrooms i bet you would definitly feel better having a gun in your hands to defend yourself and family....rather than have your opinoin,a keyboard, and a vb forum to voice it on
