I think the best thing you should do is not show gun pics if you are pro gun.

The more gun pics out there and people bragging about it, the more is gives people an excuse to talk about it. Then they just add a spin "see look at all these crazies with their guns ban them."

Gun violence happens everyday all around the world. The media picks and chooses its spin very carefully and for reasons.

You should not be helping the spin.

Talk about safe use and hunting. And forget about all the "rights" and spin it right back in their faces. If all gun owners just talked about "I use it at the shooting range and for hunting". There would be less ammo against it.

The second you start to talk about "protection", "invasions" and preemptive crime is the same second you are just spinning fear. That same fear of guns people are lead to believe and that same fear that is pushing a ban against them.
