Yeah I find it hard to credit a story written about someone a couple hundred years after they died as well. It's like taking some pirate movie as gospel truth. "literally".
People need to accept responsibility AND take credit when it's due. Next time a sports figure thanks Jesus for making the game winning catch I might vomit frogs just to make a point.
