This is partially true. Yes, there is the wall thing. But there is also maneuverability. Shotgun is great when you preemptively hear an intrusion. Handgun for nightstand and quick reaction.
This all scenario in my head though. I hope the case never arises. I personally bought my handgun mainly to practice shooting with and have fun with friends. But I also chose to buy the handgun that I did because I have started frequenting Vegas and just being around the city I have seen some shit... right in broad daylight. People getting hassled by "questionable fellows", people literally breaking into cars in parking lots with no discretion at all.
I have yet to get my CCW still but I definitely plan on it the longer I stay here in Vegas.
Take all that as you like. DOnt be stupid or gangster... be prepared.
Hopefully I use this weapon for the rest of its day only out on the range.
