Even though I consider them more of a punk band, I am a fan...we did a radio interview with them 10 years ago or so and talked about us going up to Canada and them coming to the USA on a co-heading tour, but members of both bands had criminal records and weren't allowed in either country.

Really they were a punk band, but
Here Today, Guano Tomorrow was thrash/metal all the way through. Had a little different sound from the rest of what they've done.
Listening to the lyrics I can see how some people would draw a comparison to the Dayglo's...
