Ohhh, the US has been doing that for decades. Where do you think Saudi Arabia got all of its infrastructure back in the 60s and 70s? The US would loan Saudi Arabia money, who then used it to pay US contractors to build infrastructure. Hell of a deal of the US and corporations.

There's a book called "Confessions of an Economic Hitman", written by a guy who basically negotiated deals to rape and pillage countries. One of the largest endeavours the US undertook was Saudi Arabia, hence why there's still currently almost never any disputes with them as an ally. It's a good read.
