I love the landing page optimizer. It totally takes the guess work out of figuring out which landing pages does best for which spot.
For example:
1. IMChat /Toolbar chat - I found all our different registration (join) pages do best. It's a better flow that if a surfer likes the IMChat and clicks the thumb wanting to chat that they are sent to the signup page rather than homepage or a whole other search results page.
2. Gay Traffic vs Straight traffic - you can setup multiple campaigns and have your straight traffic rotating one set of landing pages and your gay traffic rotating a different set.
3. Popunder Spots - Some landing pages do better as a popunder vs others. Setup a landing page optimizer campaign and let it rotate a bunch.
4. For variety and less "stale" factor - rotating landing pages means the surfer can click several aff banners and see a different landing page each time thus increasing the chance that at least 1 of them convinces the surfer to signup.
Bottom line is this tool totally helps optimize traffic.
