Although the post nearly applies the same there, I don't disagree with a 'webmaster' link in the footer of a paysite tour, that's the known location for experienced webmasters and probably where most of their affiliates find them from. And a paysite with a big header isn't too unnecessary as long as it's enticing and there are the usual members/bookmark/join/etc buttons in place. Whatever gets them to the join page fastest.

It's the affiliates and their personal sites that I'm mainly talking about. Having a big header image that is a link right back to your homepage is so pointless. Send them to a damn tour or something, are you in it to make money or brag about your traffic? Ugh.
