Of course, that's not what you said, is it? You said inflation has doubled.
Even so, you neither understand or acknowledge your mistake, nor do you understand the relevance of gas prices (now and then) as it relates to your question of whether we are better off today or 2 years ago.
In your simpleton world view, it doesn't matter that gas prices being lower 2 years ago was actually because things were worse then, not better. IOW, prices then were a symptom of how bad things were.
Are you really such a one dimensional thinker or are you just hard headed?

Are you? did you figure in inflation, thats double considering gas prices

that means inflation considering gas prices, as far understanding that includes the prices of food increasing due to added shipping costs , Which the CPI doesn't address
Is that so hard to understand?

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
