There is no such thing as a "Top religious leader" in Judaism, every opinion is open to debate and development within the community..... No one is held to some kind of unchanging dogma, the conversation is forever ongoing....
and I thought the point of this discussion was an adult debate, not some high-school type locker room shout-down.
From the tone of your post I would have to assume that you would never change your mind or admit you are wrong in ANY debate. What's the point in discussion if your objective is "winning" rather than learning and expanding?
