we never did any XCart project, but we do Smarty templates and integrations with virtually any script out there (we even build custom CMS, scripts and such) so it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, if interested please send me a mail using the form on my site. To the very least, we'd charge you way less than what xCart charges for exclusive usage of themes
