2. There is a reason/story behind it... for example... you probably heard of Yelp! its easy to remember but you don't know what it means... it actually comes from YEllow Pages! Now I will never forget that Yelp is like yellow pages... (I spoke with someone who worked there a long while back before everyone knew what they were).

If you are going to use blimple be careful because the first word that came to mind for me was pimple and I dont think its an acne cream you are trying to make. But of course you could spend time "teaching" people what blimple is and someday it could be synonymous with awesome webhosting... who knows! The reason I liked Hostive is because host is a keyword, quick glance or readover i think of the words host and live which are good words for web hosting... etc...
I am still on the fence I realize people think Pimple or even butt pimple but look at Google it's Goo (gross) with a gle (gurgle) after it.

Also I think people remember bad things like 4-5 times over good things, so maybe just maybe a domain ossociated with something really bad like a blimp size pimple will resonate. Also the fact that no one said it sounds like blimp that is simple confirms that people remember and think about bad things naturally. It's been proven before.
