Pretend all you want, because this is me, this is Harley Spencer. You already heard from the owner on this thread, Blazer Media.
You're right, not everyone wants to see people fucking, which is the type of video I'm working on. Behind the scenes stuff, other clips of other things, etc.
Forgive me for coming off as hostile, I know I did and I figured someone would react the way you did to it. There are some things I probably shouldn't have said, but oh well, I said it, I can't take it back.
Yeah I know that some of what I said is probably going to turn some people off, including people that would like to promote the website and people that are potential members. Again, I probably shouldn't have said some of those things, but.... too late for that.
Why no marketing yet? We're working on it. So far what I've done is sign up for things, and some of those things took time. For example, this website. They took nearly a month to finally approve me, and now I'm going to start some marketing. Same goes for other websites.
The owner is not the photographer. He is the producer and the owner, that's it. There are other people that are the photographers. We give percentages to myself, the producer, and the photographer(s).
I sound like a webmaster? Alright. Well, I'm the model. Just because I know what I'm talking about doesn't mean I'm not a model. Believe it or not, I'm pretty smart. If you don't agree with everything I say or do, that's fine, you don't have to.
If the owner wanted more from me, he wouldn't be working with me. There's plenty of fish in the sea that he could work with. But he's working with me, we were both aware of everything that would be going on, what I'm comfortable with, what I can do, and so on. We are both aware of the pros and cons of what our website contains.
Perhaps the things I do or don't do don't make much sense to you or other people, but they make sense to me. It's certainly not going to be as successful as the programs that do offer more, and I'm willing to accept that. I sincerely enjoy what I do.
What thing I need to work on is marketing and appealing to a certain audience, which isn't the audience that prefers what I don't have. I'm not going to go into detail about what I'm working on, how I'm working on it, or why I'm working on it. That's another discussion.

This sounds so much like AlphaSky.
While you may disagree, I am willing to put money on the fact that this project won't ever get that far. Why? Too many percentages given out, not enough cash. Guess time will tell. Also depends whether these photographers are ok with making a few hundred a month. Same goes for whoever does the day to day operation of the website.
And as far as the lack of marketing? A solo girls website should have its best month in its first month. Any solo girl website I launched, will have a few hudnred members atleast in the first month. Your first days have 30+ sale days.
How far off from that you are, tells me alot. The majority of marketing for a solo girl website actually doesn't take much time, its just contacting the right people for promotion, I just asked if any of the guys were promoting you and none of them said yes. They haven't even heard of the website. Im not saying this to bash anyone, im saying this to give you that information, to show you that maybe the way you guys do things isn't right and you should be more open ears to what people have to say.
So with all the sales and traffic I get, and for me to say theres not much of a profit margin to give percentages to give away to that many people, wouldn't that say something to you about a website making alot less?
Or do you think, you as a new model knows exactly how it's going to work out?
For example, lets say your website makes 5000 a month: (thats being EXTREMELY generous to a website with little marketing and no video)
2500 to affiliates, 500+ to processing, CMS = ? 150?, Affiliate Software? 50? At some point, using a streaming software. 50? Server bill , couple hundred?
Lets say theres roughly 1500 left
Then theres the cost of ongoing shooting, wardrobe, locations. Unless that is, you have already shot years worth.
And take into account youre going to be splitting the profits 4 or more ways? LOL
