Corporations search for profit and the moving of a huge base of manufacturing without replacement jobs for a lot of people that didn't or can't move into IT has hurt the usa and west.
Then you see the youth against globalization, but I think most of them don't understand the problems, they just want to protest. If nothing else, protest your job leaving and leaving you unemployed, not your job being handed to child labour in unsafe / toxic working conditions.
