Very sorry to hear about this.

Unfortunately, when someone is going to do this there is nothing that you can do to prevent it. We always feel that we could have seen something, done something, not done something. No matter how bad we feel when this happens to someone we know or are related to, we can't blame anyone. Mental illness is a bitch and there usually are no clear answers when a person gets into this state of mind.

Again, very sorry for your families loss. Please try not to blame yourself or anyone else. Just be the best nephew that your aunt could hope for. That is something within your power.
