One dies licking county wreck

One person was killed and another was injured this afternoon in a one-car crash near the village of Kirkersville in Licking County.
The car hit a tree at the intersection of Gale Road SW and Refugee Road SW at 4:02 p.m., according to the State Highway Patrol's Lancaster post.
The driver and a passenger were taken to Licking Memorial Hospital, where the passenger was pronounced dead. The names of the driver and passenger have not been released.
