When you apply it to the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight... almost every liberal I have asked about it points to the same thing... right before the referee looked at the timekeeper (and Mayweather made the knockout) they say that you can clearly see the referee clap his hands... which is the time in signal.
Almost every conservative I have asked about it claims to either have not seen the referee signal time in or that it wasn't clear that he was signaling time in. They also say that Ortiz wasn't ready to fight because the referee confused him and that Mayweather took a cheap shot...

Personally I recognize that it was a legal hit, but the way he acted at the end of the fight was the part that I found pathetic. No class.
