You say Bankruptcy? What is the case number? If they really are doing that it is all the reason to try to not piss people off because all it takes is for someone to go to the trustee and bring up that this money was potentially obtained fraudulently (by defrauding affiliates) and the bankruptcy will take YEARS to complete.
What I think (based upon the numbers I see) is that someone just decided that they would make more by closing down the affiliate program and keeping rebills than they would make by accepting new joins from affiliates. This is due to the decline in sales. I don't know for sure but that is what I would suspect. Especially if there is no real BK filing.
