Obviously you can make money selling Clickbank products, the Clickbank marketplace is one of the largest mainstream affiliate sales platforms in existence. It is just a matter of choosing what to promote.
As I stated in my earlier post, you should run any product you plant to promote through the grandmother test, is it a reputable product ? Is the product of high quality and is there good after sales support.
Internet Marketing products in the main should be avoided, however products in other classifications are quite acceptable. The popular Wordpress lightbox plugin
Popup Domination can be promoted via Clickbank, it's a robust product that pays a decent commission and is widely used.
It's just a case of being discerning about what to promote.
Then you have the issue of how to promote. There are experienced mainstream marketers who have their finger on the pulse of Clickbank and can move quickly to set up the required networks of sites necessary to do any real volume in sales. Some of these guys can drop multiple $k a day on ad buys, testing until they hit a winner and then they throw a fortune at it. While you can't compete with these guys you can, with modest outlay, have some success.
Never be afraid to test new ideas, when you come up with an idea that works, milk it for all you can.
