Quite frankly, most of the players in this industry don't respect the women that are making their livelihoods possible - and where you find that sort of misogyny, you also usually find homophobia and intolerance towards trans people.
I don't expect you'll get many people here to even read what you're saying, because it's easier for them to just decide it's "wah wah another bitch whining" instead of realizing that any of them may be guilty of acting wrongly.
You can try and educate people, but especially on the internet - many people guilty of those sort of outdated modes of thinking have their priviliged heads so far up their own asses that they'll never even hear you.
It's a rough spot to be in, and you have my sympathy. At least know that some of us out there aren't total pieces of shit =)
