If this thread keeps up the OP is due a prize.
Every performer/producer wants to be recognized for their work. It's natural when you make something you're proud of, or in the hopes it will generate more income. There's just not room for it all in the AVN Awards. Or any award show. If you don't agree with their style start your own awards or purchase mid/high level advertising plan. That will get you noticed.
Personally I'd rather get pats on the back from affiliates than ANY award.

Extremely accurate.
Since award shows started there have been plenty excluded, with or without merit. Some awards presented and others just listed on the screen. I remember old school guys 15-20 years back having the exact same gripes. Movies and performers winning that didn't perform that year or have fallen out of the limelight. Winners drawn out of a hat. Poorly received and selling movies winning trophies. Next year will be the same.
