PHOENIX (AP) ? Longtime Phoenix-area auto dealer Lou Grubb has died. He was 89.
Grubb's family says he died Tuesday after suffering cranial bleeding.
The New York native founded Grubb Automotive in 1972. He grew the company into one of the largest automotive dealerships in the Phoenix metropolitan area in the 1970s and 1980s.
Grubb sold his chain to the conglomerate AutoNation in 1997.

http://bit.ly/yUgXmb) says Grubb is survived by his wife, Evelyn, and his four children: Dan, John, Nancy Sage and Tracy Christ, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Church in Phoenix.
