i was reading a news story that a man had digitized all his family photos and backed them up on megaupload. he was lucky as he suffered a house fire and lost the originals as well as his computer where they were backed up as well.
with the last copies of the photos pending deletion the man was heartbroken that his newborn son will never know what grandma's face looks like, as she died from brain cancer last year.
this shit is out of control.
