Yes, each of those has one thing in common with tax payer funded abortion, but not both. War is morally objectionable to many. However, national defense is unavoidably a state function. Private individuals don't device to go to war, or to defend the nation, on their own dime. Government HAS to do defense. Government does not have to be in the abortion business. People wanting abortions or wanting to promote abortion can do so on their own. Their is no reason you have to force the public to participate.
Education, unlike abortion or war, is nothing like murder. No one finds education morally objectionable. Still, prime call fot various types of privatization or partial privatization (vouchers) and that seems to work well. Forcing someone to pay for education is inherently different from forcing someone to pay for "murder" (war / abortion).
