I know it's not exactly the same but we have a country that has already gone through a Greece style default but on a much smaller scale with Iceland so it's interesting in the sense that this has happened to a country recently. The ramifications of a default are not on the same scale though
Scary and sobering posts as always JHC, I know you've mentioned you're big into the survivalist marketing in MS but try and keep a level head. If you spend too much time around those folk you'll be convinced the sky is falling tomorrow.
I have no doubt what you have posted will happen, the problem is when. I thought it was going to happen in 2008, 4 years on it still hasn't happened. This could continue like this for another 5 or 10 years before everything collapses or longer, no one really knows
Looks like the pro bailout coalition are going to form in Greece, I'm rather surprised by the result tbh but it will just delay the inevitable
Plus the other day the Spanish 10-Year Yield Hit 7.0%!!!!!
