He clearly planned all of this out, so that is why I am surprised he warned them. If he was flying by the seat of his pants, I'd agree with you. But to put in the effort to learn how to booby trap and then do it, this guy thought this out.
I'm still waiting to see if his warning is part of the plan. The guy may be crazy, but stupid he is not.
