If this is the case your vid may be seen 6 million times but makes no money. but a not very good vid with just 5 views could make money if somone clicks the advert.

If your videos is watched 6 million times, that is also 6 million ad views
for each ad on the page. Our advertisers pay on a display basis (CPM) so you get a percentage of all the revenue that all those ad views generated.
We don't sell on a pay per click, we sell our ads on CPM (Cost per mille or cost per 1000 views) so even if in all those 6 million viewings, not one surfer clicks on an ad, the Advertisers still paid to be displayed. All that revenue is split between us and the owner of the video.
