Yeah, that story is a bit old but let's not forget that Kerry got swift boated with much older allegations. What goes around comes around.
As for the link you provided. Yes, Romney didn't excommunicate the woman in question but had she followed his very strongly voiced "advice" she may very well have ended up dead.
