Nobody is laughing at people who prepare for things like this, it is recommended by our governments even to have such supplies in case of natural disasters such as these. Where people are calling you guys crazy is when you stock up on more ammo than food. I'm no where near anti gun but if my neighbour had more ammo than food, i would be moving before any storm/disaster hit--because someone like that is a psychotic killer waiting for the first excuse to murder someone.
