My son was playing guitar and composing the music in a rock band since 12 y/o. When he was 13, has has played for a first time in one of popular Moscow clubs. After that he with his band has played almost in every Moscow rock club I know about. When he become 16 y/o he said: "I'm enough of that shit, I'm gonna quit"
That was a right decision IMHO, because a high quality education rules, while everything else can wait.
