The thread title isn't about those who lost everything but the people crying about not having electric for a few days.
Most hurricanes I've lost electric for about a week and after Wilma I lost electric for three weeks and lost water for four days. All of this was just an inconvenience because I was prepared with my own water and a fridg and cabinets stocked with plenty of food plus a generator with enough fuel for two weeks. Having to drive about 50 miles to get more gas after a few weeks was about as bad as it got.
The woman on TV yesterday screaming because she didn't have electric for three days was like a spoiled baby crying.
