Just want to repeat that I told here many times already. I'm not a fan of Putin
who has one foot in the other world. And I also don't think that a prison time is a just punishment for the girls. I believe a fine or 15 days in jail would be more than enough for them.
However there is a law which can't be discussed. The Pussy Riot performers know they are giving a formal reason to get them imprisoned and they did it consciously. You can't be a revolutionist w/o some kind of a sacrifice. So they got exactly that they were after for.
You saw their song on Red Square: "Putin has pissed himself". It was a political performance against Putin personally, but nobody was punished for that. Why? Because there was no
formal reason. The similar performance in church (I'm not a religious man and I don't support the religion of any kind) was openly breaking the law.
