Some would have you believe that in a world like that, there would be nothing but criminals since they could still, even then, get guns if they REALLY wanted to.
They didn't though, because they weren't faced with a gun crazed and fearful citizenry. They could just punch you and take your wallet. These days they're afraid you are carrying a glock so they make sure to carry one too. And yeah, I really believe that. Because no matter how scared a mom and pop are, a criminal knows he's going to be getting into a struggle so he arms himself. Shame some don't understand the slope they're sliding down. Oh well.
Yeah.. it was nice to not feel like you had to lock your door.
