i wonder why. in my neighborhood people recycle everything and even have a green bin for compostables. is this common in the US? there are only two of us in our home but we only produce one bag of actual garbage every two weeks. what i do notice a lot of is people throwing away things that could be given to away or reused by someone.
as for the horse meat...if people aren't being told there is horse meat in their hamburger meat, thats bullshit. i don't care if its there but it should be marked as such. i've personally never eaten horse meat but often see it in the ground meat section in quebec grocery stores.
