I spend so much time having fun at GFY that I forget why I signed up years ago...to get some help with my own adult project that I've been working at on the side. I've had some downtime from my regular gig, so I've been developing the main character for my project, which has morphed from an animated film to a sci-fi graphic novel, with the possibility of also being a semi-animated web comic.
These test renders were made to look like a hybrid between realistic and cartoon, with some hand drawn lines mixed in. The hair was a bitch. I spent the last couple weeks just getting a hair rig set up so it drops into whatever pose the character gets into automatically.
I have it storyboarded, and its going to be pretty wild. I'm hoping to self publish and market myself if I ever get the fucker done. What do you think of the main character? She won't have a name, as there's no dialogue in the script. It's all visual.
