This may be just me, and I am sorry if this comes across as preaching to the choir or condescending, which is not my intention, but whenever ratios are that bad, of course first we look to see if there is a technical difficulty, or perhaps an event, i.e., outages, weather, holidays, elections, etc., but then we ask why the promo tool is not working and blame ourselves for not dialing in better ratios with improved ads, testing, rotating out the stuff that is not working.
In other words we never accept that generalized excuse "ratios suck"; we always think "we suck at getting better ratios".
