Sadly, I wasn't surprised to read this.
A few months ago an LAPD cruiser went through a stop sign at 35mph in front of me, just as I'd started moving into the intersection after stopping. No lights or siren, they just bust the stop sign. I'm sure if they'd hit me it would've been my fault.
