Honestly Jenni, I would have your speakers really dumb it down. We've sat in on some of the mobile seminars and while the speakers are clearly experts who really know their shit, a lot of what they say is over people's heads.
We've had mobile pay site setups as part of the Elevated X CMS software for about 4 years and most of them still don't have a specific mobile billing component in use on their sites.
For a lot of site owners mobile is a different world entirely and they need to start with the basics.

How do people pay?
Is there a link they click to buy?
Is there a join page like normal sites?
Does it work for US users too?
Is it only for certain countries?
Will it affect my non-mobile buyers in any way?
Is my billing processing fee or % the same as my merchant acct or 3rd party credit card company?
Can any mobile pay site accept mobile payments for membership subscriptions?
