Dear Adult Industry Directors and Producers,
I am writing you as participants of FSC's APHSS (Adult Production Health and Safety Services) program. In the fall of 2012, through some initial donations from a variety of producers and ongoing donations from Manwin, FSC began providing subsidies to performers for their testing expenses. The subsidy varied from month to month depending on how many performers test and how many times they test in a given month. We have been sending out an average of 500 checks monthly to performers and the performers are very grateful for the subsidy.
Manwin has been contributing $50,000/ month to the fund and 100% of that $50,000 has gone to subsidize performer testing. Manwin has agreed to continue to contribute to the fund at a level of $10,000 per month with the agreement that they will match contributions up to $50,000.
I am writing you on behalf of the performers asking you to consider a monthly contribution to the fund so that the performers may continue to realize some financial relief of the cost of testing through the subsidy. Please reply to this email if you and/or your company are willing to contribute and I will follow up with you at your convenience.
Thank you for considering this important request. I know we all agree that our performers are the backbone of our industry and we want to make sure we do all we can to keep them happy and healthy.
Thanks again,
Diane
