I think that this is more than just threats now tbh, if you listen to this guy talking and other news outlets they are saying that the orders are comming directly from the supreme leader which is not normally the case and they are also backing up their threats with actually doing things which they also dont normally do.
North Korea war 'possible'
Speaking to Today presenter John Humphrys, John Everard, former UK Ambassador, explained that North Korea leaders "believe that they are the victim, they believe that they are being hounded by the United States".
He went on to speak of a "spiral of violence" between North Korea and the US and South Korea and said that war was "possible".
