+1 I love the directing on the series and Rebirth/EOE. The last 10 years i havent been into anime anymore but i recently checked out the 3 Eva movies (1:11, 2:22, 3:33) and thought they were lacking story/directing wise. Not a big fan of those. I'm digging the new Eva series. The animation is splendid and while the storyline seems
linear, I like that it is not just a retelling of the same story. I like the variants in the plot.
EOE is probably my favorite out of the entire series. My mind is always
blown, by the last scene on the beach. Eerily entertaining.
