Not sure if I ever told this story here.
When I got Buddy he lived in Indiana so I had to fly him home. Long story short, he grew a lot more than expected when I went to get him, it was winter, there were flight delays and he ended up in LA about 5-6 hours before I did. I was pretty bummed, expecting to come to LAX and a dog in a box full of his own shit. It did not help matters when as soon as I stepped off the plane I heard my name announced to report to this area "about your dog."
There was a long line at the place I was to to report, but I went up front and said who I was. Within seconds I heard a ching-ching-ching behind me and turned around to see Buddy escorted by a couple TSA chicks, on the leash I had thrown in his cage (we never even had a chance to work with it).
Seems that TSA had adopted Buddy upon arrival, the girls had given him water and leash trained him as they walked him around LAX. I think he would do just fine there.
