Several years ago I went through a rough patch and got behind on my bills. I called the company that holds the mortgage on the house and told them that I would be late with this month's payment. I normally pay it on the first, but it was going to be around the 15th this month. They told me that they will note it, but I might still get a call from them.
They called me every single day from the 5th to the 15th. Everyday I told them same thing and everyday they noted it on my account and the next day they called again. The funny thing was that it was the same person who was calling. They likely have an automated dialer, but still, it was pretty funny. After 3-4 days I just started saying, "Check your notes, it the same thing I told you each of the last 4 days."
