Yep, just take a picture with that card for each set that you shoot. Bring that pic up in your develop software (Lightroom, Camera Raw etc..) and use the eyedropper/white-balance tool on the white or grey patch and that'll give you a very neutral white balance. Have you tried the Passport Color Checker? Pretty cool little tool. Basically does the same thing. I like the profile you can create in Lightroom. Makes colors pop a little more than the standard camera profile.
